Glatt Kosher Event Staff
Learn more
Glatt is the stricter end of kosher practice, and it changes what a kitchen and a crew have to do. We work to glatt-level protocols as standard for every event we staff, with separated equipment, controlled sourcing and supervision on site, so a family does not have to qualify its caterer and its staff separately.
About this event
When a family asks for glatt kosher, it is usually because of the household, not because of the event. The home, the guests and the family all operate at that level, and an event that drops below it puts the household in an impossible position.
We build our whole operation around that requirement. Our kitchen practice is glatt-level, our crews are trained on it, and our staffing works under the supervision of the Kashrus Council of Lakewood. The result is that the same standard applies whether the food comes from your caterer or from our kitchen help.

What we provide on site
Glatt-level service covers the separation of milchig and fleishig equipment in the kitchen and on the service line, the sourcing of the ingredients, and the supervision of the preparation. Where the venue requires it, a mashgiach is on site for the duration of the work.
Our waiters are briefed on the separation as well, so the service itself does not undo what the kitchen did correctly. That is the detail most families ask about after the first event.
- Separated milchig and fleishig equipment and service line
- Glatt-level sourcing and preparation, under KCL supervision
- Mashgiach on site when the venue requires it
- Staff briefed on separation at the table, not only in the kitchen
How it works with your caterer
If your caterer works at glatt level, we coordinate with them as standard and brief our crew on their requirements. If you want our kitchen help to cook, the separation is built into the setup from the start, and the equipment is ours rather than borrowed.
We will also tell you plainly when a particular caterer or venue cannot work to the standard you need, before the event rather than on it.
Pricing notes
Glatt kosher staffing is quoted per event, and the quote reflects the crew, the hours and whether a mashgiach is on site for the day. The mashgiach is a separate line item so the supervision is explicit.
Base hourly rates are on the pricing page; the final quote depends on the event's size and location. The composition of the crew changes with the menu and the venue.

FAQ
What does glatt kosher mean for our event?
It means the kitchen and the service work to the stricter level of kosher practice throughout, with separated equipment, controlled sourcing and supervision on site. Practically, it means your caterer and our crew are working to the same standard rather than the household having to check each of them separately.
Do you provide a mashgiach for glatt kosher events?
Yes. A mashgiach is available on request and is coordinated with the Kashrus Council of Lakewood where the venue requires it. We schedule the supervision as its own line item and cover the full period of the work.
How do you handle milchig and fleishig separation on site?
The separation is built into the kitchen setup from the start, with separate equipment and a service line that does not cross. Our waiters are briefed on it too, so the table is served correctly and the separation is not lost at the last step.
Can you work with our glatt kosher caterer?
Yes, and we coordinate with them directly before the event so both teams work to one plan. If your caterer cannot meet the standard you need, we will say so beforehand rather than discovering it in your hall on the day.
