We quote in three ways, and which one applies depends on the event. Every quote is itemised by role and by hour, so there is one number to check rather than a rate to reverse-engineer.

The three ways we quote, compared
Per eventOne event, one crew, one quotePer hourFor home celebrations and short shiftsPackageFor a series, a week or a recurring booking
How it is quotedThe most common way families book us. We quote the whole event as a single figure based on the crew, the hours on site and the service format, with the roles itemised so you can see what each part covers.A home vort, an anniversary dinner or a Shabbat dinner is often simpler to price by the hour. We quote the crew and the number of hours on site, and the hours are agreed before the event rather than estimated afterwards.A sheva brachot week, a run of Yom Tov preparations or a recurring corporate lunch is quoted as a package, because the setup repeats and the crew does not need to be briefed from scratch each time. One agreement, the nights or the dates itemised.
What the quote covers
  • A crew sized to the guest count, the menu format and the hours
  • Waiters, bartenders and kitchen help listed by role
  • Setup of the service area and cleanup after the event
  • Coordination with your own caterer before the day
  • Kitchen help, waiters or both
  • Agreed hours, confirmed before the event
  • Cooking to your menu or to your caterer's menu
  • The same crew from preparation through to the dishes
  • The same crew across the run where the schedule allows
  • Each date or night itemised in the quote
  • A single invoice instead of a separate quote per event
  • Priority on crew availability for the dates you need

Per event

One event, one crew, one quote

The most common way families book us. We quote the whole event as a single figure based on the crew, the hours on site and the service format, with the roles itemised so you can see what each part covers.

  • A crew sized to the guest count, the menu format and the hours
  • Waiters, bartenders and kitchen help listed by role
  • Setup of the service area and cleanup after the event
  • Coordination with your own caterer before the day

Per hour

For home celebrations and short shifts

A home vort, an anniversary dinner or a Shabbat dinner is often simpler to price by the hour. We quote the crew and the number of hours on site, and the hours are agreed before the event rather than estimated afterwards.

What the quote covers

  • Kitchen help, waiters or both
  • Agreed hours, confirmed before the event
  • Cooking to your menu or to your caterer's menu
  • The same crew from preparation through to the dishes

Package

For a series, a week or a recurring booking

A sheva brachot week, a run of Yom Tov preparations or a recurring corporate lunch is quoted as a package, because the setup repeats and the crew does not need to be briefed from scratch each time. One agreement, the nights or the dates itemised.

What the quote covers

  • The same crew across the run where the schedule allows
  • Each date or night itemised in the quote
  • A single invoice instead of a separate quote per event
  • Priority on crew availability for the dates you need

Base rates. The final quote depends on the event's size and location. Send us the guest count, the menu format and the hours, and we will send a written quote with the figures itemised by role and by hour.

  • Direct coordination with your own caterer, including timings and service style

Kosher surcharge explained

Some events carry a kosher surcharge as a separate line item, which is how the industry usually quotes it. It reflects the cost of the supervision, the separated kitchen setup and the sourcing requirements.

Where a mashgiach is on site for the event, that is quoted separately again, so the supervision is explicit rather than buried in a rate.

Base hourly rates are on this page; the final quote depends on the event's size and location. The quote we send you is built from the guest count, the format and the hours.

FAQ

How far in advance do I book?

Four to six weeks is our normal window, and we suggest eight weeks for peak dates, for Shabbos dates and for any event that needs a mashgiach. Because our crews are local we can often cover a shorter notice — ask us and we will tell you straight whether we can.

What does event staffing cost?

We quote per event, per hour or as a package, depending on the event and how regularly you book. The quote is itemised by role and by the hours on site, so you can see exactly what the waiters, the bartenders and the kitchen help cost. Base hourly rates are on the pricing page; the final quote depends on the event's size and location.

How many staff will I need?

It depends on the guest count, the service format and the hours on site rather than on any single number. A seated dinner with a long programme and a buffet with an open dance floor need different ratios. Send us those three details and we will size the crew for the room.

How do I get a quote?

Tell us the date, the venue, the guest count, the menu format and the hours you need covered. If you already have a caterer, include their contact details so we can coordinate with them directly. We come back with a quote broken down by role and by hour.

Do you work with our own caterer or bring your own food?

We are a staffing company and we do not bring food. We staff the event around the caterer your family has chosen, brief our crew on their menu and their service method, and take responsibility for the service side of the evening. Where a family cooks for itself, our kitchen help works in the family kitchen instead.
